Left work early with car already packed and shot up to Anglesey for the afternoon. Struggled with the usual weekend traffic which is always fustrating when one wants to go sailing. Get out of may way you slow farts.

I was not expecting much but is was well windy enough for the 6.4 to start. Water was quite flat as it was low tide but still great fun, fully powered all the time. The usual small jumps and hard gybes off the small swell. Flattened the sail off a bit as the wind increased a tad. Soon it was quite over powering so dashed in to rig the 5.7.

Rigged up the wave board as well, more to keep the 6.4 from blowing away as I did not expect the wind to hold and wanted it in reserve. Put the 5.7 on the JP and realised the wind had kicked a little more. Flat out blasting across the bay with some hard carves off the swell and small rides in the little waves. Although in control the JP was just too hectic and fast so took out the wave board. Today proved that my board choices were correct as the 5.7 on the wave board was a perfect step down to ease the power. Had another perfect hour or so on the Fanatic with some controled jumping, one back loop attempt and some nice little wave rides. The conditions were just right so really pushed hard to come out of my gybes planing on the wave board. After about 3.5 hours, a large storm front come over so I headed in as I thought the wind would drop, which it did.
A perfect session besides my final dismount when I hit a sand bar right on the beach and ended flat on my back. No damage done except my pride.
